Upgrade for Package-park unattended system
The Package-park ad hoc unattended delivery system from US-based developer Maita has been upgraded, and is now stronger and more flexible.
Package-park consists of a tough collapsible bag that can be secured outside a consumer's front door when a delivery is expected. The new version is made of tough canvas instead of the original nylon, and the bracket that suspends it from the top of the door is now longer, so that it can hang lower down where it is easier to reach. The bracket has also gained rubber strips on the parts that make contact with the door to prevent scratching.
The first units for UK customers have been delivered, and the company tells us it would still like to talk to agents or partners who would be interested in helping to market the product here.
