End-to-end distribution package from Netsuite
Medium-sized wholesalers and distributors are targeted by a special version of the Netsuite business management suite launched in the UK by this US-based developer. New features specific to this market include advanced inventory and order fulfilment, demand-based inventory replenishment, a 'transaction forms assistant', a 'matrix item assistant', vendor returns and support for wholesale/distributor customer portals. The suite as a whole is a specialised form of ERP (enterprise resource planning) system, designed to enable wholesale and distribution companies to run their entire business cycle - from lead generation to sales orders, and from warehouse and inventory management in multiple locations to shipping. Accounting support is provided throughout. Among distinctive features of the Netsuite product is its 'real-time dashboard' technology, which is intended to provide an easy-to-use, up-to-date, role-specific view of business information.
